Burn cdg karaoke with Cdrwin

How To Burn A CDG Karaoke Disc
With A Compatible Burner and Cdrwin.

This page is a walk through for those who are using CDRWIN 3.9x

You should already have ripped CDG files to their PC drive
Learn how to Rip Karaoke CD's here.

You should have a folder on your drive containing the ripped tracks
from the CDG disc and CDRWIN installed

Place the MP3+G files that you want to burn into an empty folder.
Make sure each .mp3 has a matching .cdg file.

CDG files are the lyrics so without them all this is pretty much useless :)

locate karaoke files

Now, go up directory level and highlight your working
(the one you just made) folder.

locate karaoke files

Right-Click the folder and choose MP3+G to BIN.

select karaoke files

If, for some reason you don't have the right-click options for MP3Toolz,
start the program manually.

mp3+g toolz

This next step is not really important but it can streamline things a bit.

Open Tools > Options...

mp3+g toolz

Place a tick mark next to Create Cue file.
This will make a cue file for this folder everytime you
convert to BIN placing it in the folder above (more on that soon).

If this step is left out, don't worry,
t he program has a separate option to create the CUE file at anytime.

or just whack the F4 key from the main screen.

if you have more than one CD ROM drive on your PC

Near the bottom is a Speed Setting
(general rule of thumb is to record at no more than
one half the maximum burn speed of the drive,
the author has no time restrictions and therefore
never burns at over 4X but this is personal preference
)

Next click the Load Tracks button
and you should see a window like the one pictured below:

Note the Cuesheet Status says successfully loaded
and then check that the number of files is equal
to the number of files you wanted to burn.
If you are making a custom disc of tracks
from different CD+G discs then also make sure the
Disc Running Time is NOT more than the maximum
allowed for the blank CD you are burning to.

Click Start Recording and wait for the Job Successfully Completed window.

You should now have a CD+G disc,
ready to be labeled and  that will play in a regular karaoke deck
or on your PC.
