How to find the brand of cd burner installed on your computer.

Find the My computer icon on your desktop . . .

Use your mouse and right click on that icon . . .
Once open click the Properties option at the bottom of the list

Choose the Hardware option

Now the Device Manager

In the device manager window choose DVD/CD-ROM drives

Your burner will show up right here.

Now go here and see if your burner is on the compatible burners list.
