How To Rip A Karaoke Cdg Disc Using
Audiograbber
You may have some karaoke CDG
disks that you want to backup, and create karaoke mp3+g zips from.
The best program for this is Audiograbber. It does not require a
cd burner to rip Cdg,
(extract the data from the cdg disc to convert to mp3+g zip).
There are a few simple steps
to set up the program once installed.
You will need to add the mp3 encoder lame_enc.dll to the Audiograbber folder.
This will allow Audiograbber to rip your karaoke files to mp3 format.
This needs to be copied into the directory you installed Audio Grabber.
Assuming you did a default installation, this will be:
C:\audiograbber. Copy the file lame_enc.dll there.

Top row of icons tick box below the one marked mp3g
then click the icon; click direct rip
and encode to mp3+g file; click internal encoder; click the drop down
box and select
lame_enc.dll;
click OK to proceed to next settings.
Click the settings icon. Browse your PC to where you want Audiograbber
to put your
files.

Next tick Album name and Track number, then tick
the advanced box and in the box next
to it enter the following exactly as typed: %2%3. This will allow
you to enter album name
in the box, i.e., sf001, and the tracks will be sf001-01.sf001-02,
etc., making it easier to
catalogue later. Use the detect button or select your cd rom manually
as you wish, and
thats all there is to it. Click the OK button, and start using the
best ripper on the market.

For karaoke tracks. select CD / Grab Cdg Tracks (karaoke) grab to
cdg+compressed files.
